  • Marty Rodgers

    Play By Play, Football

    Raised right here in Lowndes County, Marty Rodgers, graduate of LHS, has been around the program for all his life. Named after former Superintendent Sonny Martin, Marty has Vikings in his blood. He joined The Viking Voice in 2007 as the Sideline Reporter and moved into the Play by Play announcer in 2020. Outside of his time with The Viking Voice, Marty works for Georgia Farm Bureau. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife, Nikki, and three sons.

  • Matt Inman

    Color, Football

    Matthew has lived in Lowndes County for over 15 years along with his wife Andrea who is a science teacher at Lowndes County High School. He joined The Viking Voice in 2018, helping out as a statistician and color commentary. Outside of his time with The Viking Voice, Matthew works for EMC Engineering Services. He spends most of his time watching his kids Bailee play soccer and Drew play baseball for both school and travel teams. Matthew and Andrea both graduated from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!

  • AJ Stracener

    Sideline, Football

    Born and raised in Lowndes County, A.J. is a product of Hahira Elementary, Hahira Middle, Lowndes High and Valdosta State. He played football for both Milt Miller and Randy McPherson at LHS before graduating in 2005. He joined The Viking Voice in 2021. A.J. has worked for AmeriMed since 2004 and his wife Rachel is a teacher at HES. They have three kids, Dacey, Mason and Adalyn. On their time off, you can find A.J. and his family somewhere on the deep water, offshore fishing.

  • Pat Hill

    Play by Play, Baseball

    Pat Hill has lived in Valdosta for 27 years. His son Jackson, is a student at Lowndes High School and is a member of the Viking Baseball Team. He has spent majority of his time in Valdosta coaching youth baseball during his free time, most recently for the SGSA Travel Baseball Team. Pat works for Henry Schein Dental. Outside of work and baseball, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his lab, Hank.

  • Lance Harrell

    Color, Baseball

    A 1993 graduate of Lowndes High School, Lance is married to Stephanie. Whether on the baseball field with their 2 sons or the Volleyball court with their daughter, he stays very active. Outside of his time keeping up with his kids athletics, Lance has also coached for several travel baseball organizations. He works for Henry Schein Medical.
